Thoughts

It was a pleasure to know you and enjoy your hospitality. Enjoyed the laughter in the campervan and at various events through the years. Rest in peace Sandy xx

My brother, James Alexander McDonald, Sandy to his family and friends. 76years 6 months and 14 days One year, one month, and 20 days older than me. POOR MUM xx Precious happy memories of when we were young, several special, but one stands out in my mind. Rabbit Hunting, Sandy 8 me 7, we shared the ferret box and spade, I carried the catch nets, mallet and pegs. My duty was to guard the exit holes that Sandy thought the rabbit might exit. Netted over and watched by me, his instructions were to catch whatever came out .. What!!!! The anticipation, fear and excitement as Sandy put the ferret down the hole, the noise as the poor rabbit was evicted from it's home. I hated that bit, but loved our time together. I was given the task of carrying our dinner home. We were brought up wild and free, self sufficient. Thank you Dad and Mum. Sandy brought up his family in a similar way. He was an expert at Tree Houses starting at an early age. Strong, Focused, Determined, Clever and Stubborn. Grumpy in old age probably!! A great pity life changed things and we drifted apart. That did not stop my love for you, big brother. R.I.P
